Another difference between the two platforms is that Substack doesn’t encourage promoting your personal and affiliate products in emails, but beehiiv does.
So, if you’re looking for more ways to monetize your newsletter, beehiiv is the way to go.
You won’t know until you try out multiple options and find out which is the best way for you.
Meanwhile, Substack could still be a better option if you like its overall features better….it does have some that aren’t available on beehiiv (especially community-building features like chats, discussion threads, and Notes (aka Twitter clone)).
